English Proficiency Requirements

The TOEFL iBT test is one of the official English language test options accepted by the Ministry of Education, and all Korean higher education institutions accept TOEFL iBT scores for international admissions.

Minimum English proficiency requirement for English-track programs in Korea: TOEFL iBT 3.5 (or 59, if taken before January 21, 2026)

The academic year runs from March through December. There are two semesters: Spring/first semester which starts in March and Fall/second semester which starts in September, with breaks for holidays.
